I’m around food a lot, and spend much of my day thinking about recipes and ingredients, but in recent months, I’ve been musing a bit more than usual about food and our complicated relationship to it.
… about how we’re always looking for advice about food from outside … about how quick we are to dismiss simple preparations with fresh ingredients … about how easily we get discouraged about making food from scratch because our expectations are unrealistic, … and about how we look to so-called “experts” to tell us how and what to eat rather than relying on our own research and intuition.

Its time to take back our food! and so I leave you with a Real Food Manifesto, v1.0 🙂 I’d love to hear your thoughts. If this strikes a chord with you, please take it and use it to start your own conversation about food (with attribution).
