We are pleased to be offering Gluten-free Cooking Classes
in partnership with Oaklands Community Centre in 2011
Are you newly diagnosed as needing to adopt a gluten-free diet and wondering what to eat?
Cooking gluten-free meals from scratch can be easy and hassle-free, once you have a good understanding of where gluten might be hiding in your food, and what alternative ingredients there are out there.
This series of cooking classes will give you a broad understanding about how to use gluten-free ingredients to make tasty meals and baked goods for your family.
Each class will include a recipe booklet, demonstrations of a few of the recipes, and
tasters of all the products talked about during the class.
A series of 4 classes will be held between January 22, 2011 – Feb 5, 2011
Where: Oaklands Community Centre, #1 – 2827 Belmont Avenue
When: Saturdays (dates above) 1:00 pm – 3:00 p.m
Cost: $140 for 4 classes
This series of classes will cover:
- Basic sauces and marinades, plus gluten-free pastas
- One-dish meals (from freezer to table!)
- Converting your favourite recipes to gluten-free
